Powder Coating Institute (PCI) works with the North American powder coating industry to promote powder coating technology and communicate the benefits of powder coating to manufacturers, consumers, and government.

BERC: The Business Environmental Resource Center (BERC) was established in 1993 as a one-stop, non-regulatory permit assistance center to help Sacramento County Businesses understand and comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Powder Coating Magazine is a technical information publication devoted to the Powder Coating Industry.

Bay Area Coaters Association (BACA) was established in 1979 by a group of local paint shop owners who saw the need to organize themselves and other job shop owners in the Bay Area into a cohesive group capable of meeting the challenges facing the industry in the 1980's and beyond.

California Air Resources Board (CARB) was established in 1967 to attain and maintain healthy air quality, conduct research into the causes of and solutions to air pollution, and systematically attack the serious problem caused by motor vehicles, which are the major causes of air pollution in the State.

California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal-EPA) was created in 1991 by Governor's Executive Order. The six Boards, Departments and Office were placed within the Cal/EPA umbrella to create a cabinet level voice for the protection of human health and the environment and to assure the coordinated deployment of State resources. Cal-EPA's mission is to restore, protect and enhance the environment, to ensure public health, environmental quality and economic vitality.

California Occupational Safety & Health Administration (Cal-OSHA) is part of the California Department of Industrial Relations, which was established to improve working conditions for California's wage earners, and to advance opportunities for profitable employment in California.

California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) protects California and Californians from exposures to hazardous wastes. Approximately 1,000 scientists, engineers and specialized support staff work in nine offices statewide. DTSC is a department of the Cal-EPA.

California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) was established to assist Cal-EPA in protecting and enhancing public health and the environment by scientific evaluation of risks posed by hazardous substances.

California Public Utilities Commission(CPUC) regulates privately owned telecommunications, electric, natural gas, water, railroad, rail transit, and passenger transportation companies.

California's State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) was created in 1967. The joint authority of water allocation and water quality protection enables the SWRCB to provide comprehensive protection for California's waters. The SWRCB oversees nine Regional Water Quality Control Boards (RWQCBs).
